Casa Crews Fort Worth
We have been moving since June! When we decided to make North Texas our home again, we had no idea that it would take us so long to figure out where to live. For months now we have been in corporate housing (although we have been paying for this ourselves, so it's been "fun" throwing money away every month).
Honestly, living downtown and being able to walk to Sundance Square or hop on our bikes to ride down the Trinity River to grab a bite at Woodshed Smokehouse, has been a blast. Being downtown has been convenient for Bill who works downtown and has the best commute ever. There is a lot of action and much to do. But we are beyond ready to be done.
It took a while, but the new Casa Crews is built and we're moving in. The neighborhood is a master planned community with some great amenities. Miles of hiking and biking trails that lead straight to the Trinity River, a private boat dock (we are on the lake), fire pits, beautiful pool, and my favorite part of all, the neighborhood herb garden from which I will pick fresh herbs any time I please.
It's all very pleasant, but there is something missing. Well, there are two things missing. Their names are Morgan and Dylan. It feels so strange moving into a new home without my kids. I still have their stuff (most of it, anyway), but I don't have them. Dylan will be here for most of the summer and of course, I'm setting up "their rooms", but this Casa Crews will be missing two of the most important Crewses in the world.
We are in our act two. We can do this. And I'll be back once we are all moved in and cooking our first meal with some of those fresh herbs.
