We adopted our dog Piper in December 2013 from our
local animal shelter. She had just given birth (still lactating),
had a terrible stomach problem that caused lots of vomiting, and
she had severe heart worms.
She won our hearts from the moment we met her in that
second to last cage in the last room at the shelter.
Two years later, she's healthy and heart worm negative!
She's happy and strong and now that she has no more
heartworms, she's allowed to run.
It's her FAVORITE! When I put on my running shoes,
she jumps around and can't wait to hit the road.
I love having a running buddy. She's my BFF!
